October 31, 200916 yr Lebrons teams defensively have been better than most of the teams in the NBA. That is what I said in the original post and you obviously missed that again. I said offensively he is not surrounded by much, but defensively he has some of the best guys around him to play team defense. If it wasn't for the great defense they play, he wouldn't have made it has far as he has some years. That is why I say don't act like he plays on bad teams and does it himself. He gets help in other ways, and that is on the defensive side. All teams in the NBA can score, teams who can play defense are the teams who do the best. Take away some of those guys and put better offensive players on that team, and they still might not win it all because they might not play as good of defense then. W/ the exception of Detroit a few years ago superstars win titles. That Detroit team had 5 all stars. So you have to have talent offensively and defensively to win the title. He's never played w/ another real good player. He scores every big basket in the 4th quarter of every big game they play or they get beat. I really thought you might have been joking. Skip Bayless sates he's overrated b/c he hasn't won anything. Bill Simmons compared it to Wayne Gretzky w/ the Kings. I think that's a great comparison. Gretzy was still great he just didnt have enough help. You just can't win the NBA title if you're the only good player on your team. No other player on the Cavs would start for any of the best 4 teams in the league. They wouldn't be the first person off the bench either.
