The keys to this game are:

1. Raceland's defense. If Raceland's defense plays like they have most of the season, it will be a big plus for Raceland.

Any coach would rather have 30 players who are willing to go the distance for their other brothers on the team than 75 who will not! When I was watching our game last Friday I felt like I was watching the 2008 team again. If that continues we continue our playoff run!

DC, I'm actually excited about this matchup, the two teams have never played, I have never seen Lynn Camp play, and it's at Raceland. I love it.

From my experience, stadium concessions are all anyone will need. No pheasant under glass or Chilean sea bass, but what's there is pretty daggone good.

Restaraunts? Why we have McDonald's AND Subway in Flatwoods. Crisp's Dairy Bar and The Corner Cone in Raceland -Worthington. Taco Bell, Arby's, Subway and Golden Corral in Russell, oh and Giovanni's in both Russell and Flatwoods. If you venture to Ashland, there are many choices including Cheddar's, Texas Roadhouse, Outback, O'Charley's and my favorite, Chick-Fil-A.

I am on the field during all the game festivities and never get to partake of all the great smelling goodies being grilled and deep fried over in the corner. Cathy informed me that a burger is $3.50!!!!! Now I know sales are for profit and a good cause but $3.50??!! Guess I'll just keep smelling and imagining the great taste.........that's free.

:thumb: I love to hear Lou Holtz and that quote certainly fits this team, this season. Another couple of his that I like are........"No one has ever drowned in sweat" and......"If what you did yesterday seems big, you haven't done anything today".

BTW, I have went back to the lunch box avatar for now as doc did, maybe we all could "pick up the lunch box" and get ready for the playoffs!!

I am really happy to see us at 100% healthy. Usually at this time of year, you have guys out. This team had all of that occur at the beginning of the year.

Also, we had a lot of turmoil this season and a lot of people that didn't have a "Ram Pride" heart or attitude and they have since left the team. We are down to 30 players but they are the ones that put team first and self last. I think the level of play has gone up each time we lost the guys who didn't want to be out there.

 

Two things that I heard around the team Friday night was, 1. Addition by subtraction, referring to the ones that quit and 2. "6-4, who wants a lot more!"

 

You have done a great job of getting everyone healthy DOC. You have earned your pay this season. I just wanted to say thanks for all you have done. I know personally two players you took care of. And you did a great job. Now all we ask is that you give us a 110% just like the players will be doing through the middle of Dec.

Wasn't LCA a big favorite over Pikeville in 2008? Because on Nov 7th LCA beat Pikeville 49-7. Dec 5th Pikeville wins over LCA in the playoffs 28-21.

Lynn Camp isn't as good offensively as they normally are but they will show up and hit you. They love football and Coach Mitchell is a throw back. I believe that they were wearing leather helmets when he started coaching. They didn't wear helmets when he played.
