It's hard to be just an awful program on the verge of being done away with, to building a legit top 25 program, to watching what Kragthorpe has tore down. UofL was not a "top 10" program. Yeah, they peaked and had a top 10 caliber teams, but they were a legit top 25 program for the better part of a decade. Kragthorpe has ruined it in no time. I don't think a lot of the bandwagon UofL fans really understand the history of the program. Or lack there of.

 

Shows how important coaching is. The only good thing is that getting it back up won't be as hard this time. The facilities, conference, etc. are much better. A good coach could get them back up to competing for the BEAST championship in a couple of years. Hey, that's all I ask, compete for your conference. I'm not delusional. I KNOW this is a basketball state, for both of our programs....:thumb:

I'm a die hard. I voted. I'm just tired of arguing with UK fans AND UL fans.

Reference the thread Jim Schue brought up a couple of weeks ago. You call it an excuse, we call it the truth. Tough to recruit against the southern speed from our spot on the map.

 

So now you're using geography as an excuse?
