Withrow balked at swaping weeks so SK could play Highlands.

Wow! Did BC have a defense on the field, or just blocking dummies for Simpson to run through?

Simpson only played the first half from what I gather and had 293 yards, 5 TDs on 14 carries.

 

Obviously, he would have broken his own record for single game rushing had he played the 2nd half.

I don't know coop, the 2009 Raiders look like a typical Ryle team but I would probably characterize them as above average vs. just average.

 

Either way, Simon looks really good and it would be fantastic to see a public school challenge for a 6A title.

I'll give you that the win last night pretty much means Ryle is the third best team in NKY. But they were beaten up by the top two.

 

I guess it just depends on the barometer you use to gauge good vs average. Put Ryle in most any region of the state and I think you're right, most people would consider them to be good. Drop them 25 miles north of the state and they become Glen Este or Loveland.

It may have been in the first half. I know early in the second quarter it was 36-0, so this may have still been a first half score.

If healthy I think he would have pushed the 200 yd mark against NCC, and would have had better than 92 yds against Henry Clay.

All we can do is speculate, but I'd say his numbers would be substantially better. One thing that does definitely help Miles though is that SK's offense iv MUCH improved over all.

Also, his carries are down which means he should have some fresh legs. 395 points after eight games, last season 403 in 15 games, a whole different offensive attack.

:lol: That's sad but true. Really he hasn't had to really grind out any games. Since being heatlhy, and even all season for that matter, I've never thought Miles was tired or worn down.
