Make sure you're within stumbling distance of Printer's Alley. Other than that, you should be OK.

There's a Marriot I believe near the downtown area near all the bars I believe :D Go to Tootsies, its my fave bar there

I'm still partial to the Opryland resort, but if you are looking for a lot of action anywhere downtown would be a good spot. I should be at this this year as well, I need to start looking for motels.

Google downtown Nashville hotels. It will give you a list and map that shows how far you are from the arena. I have done this the last 2 UK bowl games and it worked for me.

Go to Tripadvisor.com after you get some names of hotels and see what the guest reviews are as well.

If you can get a motel downtown that is where I would stay. 2nd Avenue, Church, and Broadway are the main strips for bars and nightlife. The Wildhorse, Tootsie’s, BB Kings, Coyote Ugly, and many others are all great if you’re into music. There is a Marriott Courtyard (4th Ave), Hilton (across from the Sommet Center), and many others within walking distance. The Melting Pot Fondue restaurant is pretty good, Country Music Hall of Fame is also downtown if you’re into Country Music.

Hit up Tootsies while you're downtown.

If you a car there are some decently priced hotels outside of downtown. However, you then have to park. If it were me, I'd find a place downtown, park my car once, and not see it again until I headed home.

I have just started looking. I figure the earlier the better, knowing how us UK fans are!:thumb:

Opryland resort is amazing!

I'd go with Opryland if you've never stayed there before.

Too far away, if you stay downtown you don't need a car to get to the games, eat or drink.

Coyote Ugly is a pretty crazy place if you have never been it is a must see.

It's ok, but I like Tootsies, the Big Bang and Paradise Park :D
