Does it really matter who wins this one? Neither are legit contenders to make it to state or even get out of there own district, as long as LCA is in there.. Both these teams are decent 1a teams, possibly deservent of a Top 8-10 ranking, at best, but, both are 30+ pts worse than LCA...

Should you need to know if this game really matters then I might suggest that you go to either school, walk the halls and pick out one or as many players, students,teachers,adminstrators, janitors,cooks or whoever as you want to and ask them if this game matters :sssh: . Then go out and ask any alum or true Ram or Eagle fan if this game really matters and think that you will get your answer and in no uncertain terms . Should both of these two not have one win between them, both unbeaten and/or anything in between .....Yes, this game really matters, it's called a rivalry.

No, wait a minute, I think the coaches are there to mold young men into productive, self-motivated, self-starting young adults. Yes, I'm sure I read that somewhere, they are supposed to teach these young men to overcome adversity, to prepare for the unexpected, to be good sports win or lose. Yep, I'm almost sure that more is taught in the game of football then to quit when you don't think you can win. I am pretty sure most of what is learned on the football field has nothing to do with football at all, it is about life.

 

Well, I guess we will go ahead and play this game after all. Someone turn the light back on, tell Dennis to paint until his heart is content. Someone call Fairview back and tell them they might as well go ahead and come over tomorrow.

Fairview in an upset !!

:idunno:I am not so sure that would be an upset. Fairview is ranked higher than Raceland and are having a very good season. Should you be going by the poll in this thread I can probably explain that in that by saying there are far more Racleand fans on bgp than Fairview fans, they are voting with who they want to win and that has alot if not everything to do with it.

Ram players.......There is nothing more tht anyone can say to you about getting ready to play Fairview. Fact is if you can't get ready for this one the you shouldn't be playing.

So, instead of that I will remind you, (specially our seniors) that you now have only two home games (for certain) left in your season (seniors in your h.s. carrer) on this field. Only 8 quarters left to play on Ram stadiums field.....your field. What do you want t do with it? Just something to think about. I think its gonna be hard for the eagles to come into Ram Stadium and pull out a win. I think as far as talent goes its a pretty even match but I have to give the edge to the Raceland coaching staff. Nothing against Fairview's coaches, I think they have a solid coaching staff but IMO Coach Maynard and Hoof have the advantage. Not to many coaches around here can put together a defensive scheme like Coach Maynard. I think its gonna to be a low scoring chess match type game. Raceland wins it in a tough one.

I think the wet field will benefit the rams tonight. I look for the Barr kid to have a nice game grinding it out in the mud. I think he has a chance to get alot of carries tonight with the wet weather. Good luck raceland! If you guys can't get pumped up for this one then we got some problems. Raceland v.
