Hey "Numbers guy", how about a strength of schedule for both teams?

 

RAM, did you know that this Sr. class is 5-0 vs Fairview. In that five game span Raceland has avg. 30.0ppg-- Fairview 8.4ppg

The Chris Jennings led Eagles and the last 3 years of Raceland football were the only times I would say there were favorites and underdogs in this series, atleast for a while. That being said, this is a rival game between 2 teams that don't like each other. Heck, I won't let the kids buy anything red and black, it's blasphemy. So, let's not try and skew anything, call it it like it is. I expect a very good game. Raceland is 4-3 and played a very tough pre-district schedule for the sole purpose of being ready for the big games in our district. It is time to see if the preperation is/was enough.

 

Very good points doc. As for the clothing comment, one year just after we were married my wife and I were ready (she thought:D) to leave for a Raceland/Fairview game. Mrs. Rambler was wearing Black pants with a pretty RED sweater :isurrender::scared:. I immediately explained thnings to her (that if she wore that we would go seperately and not sit together), she didn't know Fairview's colors, changed and we went to the game minus the evil colors. We are still happily married and that color combo has not been mentioned for a Fairview game since. :thumb: Sometimes lines have to be drawn. :lol:

:lol: Trust me, was one of the very few battles if any that I have won (any maried man will tell you the same if he is honest ). I am not complaining though, anyone that knows both of us will tell you that Mrs. Rambler is definately "the better half" and I have definately overmarried. This woman has put up with me for 23 years now so that alone qualifies her as a saint.

 

Besides, she is a Russell grad so I have to forgive her in dealing with that handi cap all her life. (j/k Russell alums , don't get excited)

I'm glad to see you post! I was getting worried about you since your last post indicated you had a fever and were not feeling well. Is the SidelineDoc going to be well enough to brave the elements Friday night and be there with the team? This might affect some predictions, you know.

 

As of right now, it is 50/50 for being on the sidelines. I have cancelled Senior meal, missed my second grade JFL practice Tuesday night and again tonight. I am working for the first time all week and am already tired and it is only 8:45 am. It is the first 3 days I've called off for illness in almost 12 years of owning my own business and to the best of my knowledge, brings me up to 5 missed days due to sickness in 17 years. I'll have to pretty bad to miss tomorrow, though.
