Well I will admit, more of a blow out than I thought it would be. Best of luck to both teams the rest of the season.

I guess the blowout predictions weren't too far fetched after all.....

I didn't think Boyle played that well,but their D was the difference in this game.Its going to be hard for teams to move the ball on Boyle's D. These guys really do hit you hard,Lafayette was feeling it.

I was impressed with the team tonight all around. Goldsmith's accuracy in the passing game tonight was phenominal. He hit some nice passes against tight coverage on several occasions. The kid seems to improve with each game. Dawson did everything tonight as usual; tackle, pursue, pressure the qb, run the ball, and make some big catches. I think I even saw him working the concession stand at one point. The defense continues to gang tackle and is more impressive with each game.

 

Boyle definitely showed that they are not a one-dimensional team with their balanced attack on the ground and through the air.

Had a couple of drop balls.

Boyle tackling is some of the best ive seen at the high school level. They are not a very big team but are very fundamentally sound. Offense did look more balanced but they did have a couple of dropped balls that should have been caught. Overall another good win for the rebels. Go rebels.

WOW! Thought Lafayette's defense would keep this closer. Congrats, Rebels, on a fantastic win. :thumb:

Nice win for the Rebels in what I call a statemenent game. They showed they can win in many other ways than just Rees Macsharra. I heard somebody say that 7 different players scored in this one. I don't know if that's true, but I do know of 5 off the top of my head.
