I heard he had foot problems. What colleges are looking at him? That is new to me.

I have heard that Transy and Centre are both interested. Not sure about others.

To say they are underrated might be true. However, I seriously doubt they make it out of their district.:sssh:

I agree.

He is a real intelligent kid. I think he was a Governor's Scholar last summer. I would not be surprised to see him follow a career path that does not include basketball. He has problems with his feet, but I believe he will play this year and have a big year.

Yeah, none of the guards left are ball hogs. They know when and how to throw to the bigs. Lewis especially. He's the only one out of Kelly, Lewis, and Osborne that has started Varsity (all of his Junior year). Kelly and Lewis are seniors this year. Osborne I think is a Sophomore.

From what I have heard, Osborne has really stepped it up in practice...Lewis and Kelly better be watching thier spots!:D

Shouldn't he be at practice, regardless of his injury???

Even with feet problems, Shelton will still dominate the Rebel record books!:D

I disagree. Their spots are not in danger. Osborne is a good player. And he will prove to be a good asset to Owen (and possibly start a few if needed) And IMO, he will do great this season. But his youth is his disadvantage. However, I would love to watch him his senior year. If he stays with it, which has been proven in the past for him to change gears, he will be a HOSS his senior year. But there is no way he would have the talent, strength and skills to replace Kelly OR Lewis this year:popcorn:.

There will be plenty of playing time for all three of these teammates. Hopefully they will push each other to improve in practice and not let excessive competition and comments on BGPs about who starts interfere with the good team chemistry this team has exhibited over the summer and off season.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!! And for those who keep trashing Shelton, you all should be ashamed! That poor boy has several choices for college, not just basketball - Basketball does not DEFINE anyone's life (except for those of you that have no life other than to get on here and trash players. He is a GENIUS and a WONDERFUL student and young man. He may have to have surgery, and may not even get to play his senior year much, if at all. Shame on you all:irked:!!!!!!!!

OK, I'm confused... who's trashing Shelton? All I've seen posted on this thread have been accolades for the young man...

Shelton can play, I know he has people looking at him like Georgetown, Berea, Trasny and Thomas More... He will shock a lot of people with his game this year. I have watched this boy grow as a player and he is more than ready.

I've worked with Shelton's uncle in the past. I've emailed him about the status of Jordan this season. I will post the info when he get's back to me.

I agree and I pray that he is physically healthy enough to do something in college if that is what he WANTS to do. He has come far and can go further!
