Losing Jarmon hurt a lot. The front four was already expected to be the weak line in the defense, IMO, and they lost the best player and best pass rusher. If Lindley's injury causes him to miss any time, they're in trouble.

 

On top of that, they have to deal with an anemic offense that can't score, can't move the ball at times, puts them in bad situations, and can't keep them off the field.

 

The last 9 games are going to be a real struggle. I'd love to see the Cats reach 6 wins and get to another bowl, but I just don't know if they can do it.

How are you missing the point? They were averaging 164 yards per game BEFORE the Mississippi St game.. where is that in the national rankings? I imagine a lot higher than 74th. The 130 yards per game average is BECAUSE of MSU... which helps make my case.

But, honestly I've was the OC for the '89 Canes, moved to coach the '90s Cowboys dynasties QB, and ended up coming back to coach the Canes offense in 2000 and 2001. I decided to retire, settle in KY, and start arguing with people. You didn't see me on the sidelines any?:puke:

Offensive? When you have a different idea than most, you tend to get argued with. So I show why I feel that way. Id's say it's more of a defensive approach. I like that people don't always (and sometimes usually) agree with what I have to say. It would be boring to always agree.
