Keep an Eye on Bowling Green's Chane Behanan

Featured Replies

He has a lot of potential. I talked to his coach last night to see how he is doing. He spent the evening entertaining Bob Huggins and Travis Ford. Today, he'll be hanging out with Rick Stansbury.

Here is the article from my site

I have read your site a bunch of different times here lately, off Spam's Wildcat Page. Good stuff. I hope UK gets this kid. I was thinking when this kid transfered to Bowling Green he might have been going to Warren Central which could have made them into a contender this year.

Hey, I appreciate it :thumb:

Behanan is getting a ton of attention.

Behanan has been getting a ton of attention since before he was in 7th. grade. This kid is amazing. I still congratulate him for working hard and getting himself academically in the class of 2011. Can you imagine if he were still classified as a 2012 player.

How many starters does Bowling Green have back from last year's state tournament team? If they have most of them back, and then add this kid, they should be a contender for the title along with Holmes and the other top teams.

Bowling Green lost 6 seniors from last year's team. They return two starters in DJ Ray and Tommie Boyce. They lost their top three scorers.

Why did he switch classes?

I think Warren Central will be a contender anyway.

Wouldn't let you talk to Chane huh? I'm shocked...

Bowling Green head coach D.G. Sherrill says, "I am excited. I am really enjoying the recruiting process."

Fixed that one for you... :D

Why did he switch classes?

This is the class he is supposed to be in...

So at one time he was behind but then caught up?

Something like that...

He caught up after 7th. grade. Enrolled as a freshman at Aiken. He could have easily remained in the class of 2012.

Chane Behanan Update

I spoke with Bowling Green head coach D.G. Sherrill tonight and discussed some updates on 2011 star Chane Behanan.

Behanan was ill yesterday with flu-like symptoms and had to cancel his meeting with Mississippi State head coach Rick Stansbury. They are hoping to bring Stansbury and his staff in during the next 2-3 weeks.

Next week, Anthony Grant and Alabama will be visiting Bowling Green to meet with Behanan.

There were earlier reports that Behanan may be visiting Kentucky for the second consecutive weekend, but that is not the case. Not only has Chane been dealing with sickness, but this weekend is also his birthday weekend and he plans to spend time with family.
