September 21, 200917 yr The Bible clearly states a plan of Salvation. This is thru the decision one makes to follow Jesus Christ...John 14:6 There are many verses that talk about this Kingdom not of this Earth. In Luke Chapter 16 we see Jesus referring to a wayward man who can see a Godly man in comfort and he cries out in torment to get away from this hooro, but is denied. A co-worker passed away Saturday at the age of 44. I barely knew him. Did I speak to him of Jesus and this Plan? I hope I did and more I hope he gave his life to Jesus. If somene doesn't follow Jesus they will go to Hell. Jesus tells us "I have prepared rooms for Believers". What if all this is really true and there is a Heaven, and you will go there when you pass away and you will pass someday. In Matthew chapter 1 the Angel tells Joseph..."name the baby Jesus because HE will SAVE his people from their sins". I have told folks who don't believe...what if I'm right and you are wrong, what have I lost? And if you are right and I'm wrong what have I gained. Its all in the bible, study it and beieve, Confess, Repent, get baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. I'd hate to go to Hell.
September 22, 200917 yr Behind Blue Eyes? :idunno: No, "Heaven and Hell." It's a fairly obscure John Entwistle-penned tune. It's the lead track on the "Live At Leeds" expanded re-issue.
September 22, 200917 yr Sorry, thought this was about the song by The Who. Odd, I thought of Black Sabbath.
September 22, 200917 yr Author Bryan Addams "Heaven" great song. Is there a "Hell" song? I know we are off the topic, but its not being a really big hit. I guess everyone has no thoughts on the most imporant decision they will ever make. Ezekiel 3:15 tells us "we must warn others if their sin, if we do we will be blessed". I just thought of a song...AC/DC Highway to Hell. Maybe they were thinking of my verse when they wrote it.^^^

September 22, 200917 yr This thread reminded me of an Eminem song..."There's a place called heaven and a placed called hell, a place called prison and a placed called jail."

September 24, 200917 yr Author Next time you are in the Bible look up the passages concerning the "Book Of Life" here it talks about if a person's name is in this book, if they are then its Heaven, if not guess where. Even in the end of Daniel Chapter 12 there is a mention of this book and its the only time in the OT where its mention. If someone wants I'll give the verses to you, but sometimes it means more if they can find them.
September 24, 200917 yr Eminem blows Only one of the best rappers of all-time, and arguably the best lyrically of all-time, but yeah I guess he blows... Sorry for going off-topic AL, this will be my last post in this thread so you can get the discussion you were looking for.
September 24, 200917 yr It is my feeling that Jesus wanted us to work to bring God's Kingdom to people NOW - not save them from some afterlife of torture. If you spend a great deal of time in Jesus' Teaching He talks about Bringing the good news to the poor, restoring sight to the blind, "Thy Kingdom Come on Earth as it is in Heavan." I think our biggest task is to show God's Love (that He shared through Jesus) to everyone by trying to do the things in Matthew 25 and Luke and that it is through the work that we do in Jesus' name and for the Kingdom that people will come to know Jesus. To me it is much, much more than saving people from Hell. There are those who are on this earth NOW who through no fault of their own are in a living Hell. How do we save them from that.
