September 21, 200916 yr Author I hate that Jacobs got shut down... He had a good second half. He only had 8 yards at the half. He usually doesn't do all that well against Dallas if I remember correctly. And a lot of teams are loading up against the Giants run...because they're not afraid of the Giants passing attack. They better be now .
September 21, 200916 yr Author Who will be your next jersey HB? Smith or Manningham? When I get the money, maybe both . I haven't bought a jersey since the Giants super bowl run though... Some on the list that I would like to get: Umenyiora Tuck Smith Manningham Jacobs Only problem with jerseys is that these guys leave. I have Plaxico, Shockey, Tiki, Strahan, and Manning. I usually just rotate my Manning jerseys. I have a home and away.
September 21, 200916 yr You did originally type in Manning in the first sentence right? I'm not crazy...or am I? I think you're crazy bud lol. I didn't edit it at all lol.
September 21, 200916 yr The difference in this game was certainly turnovers. Giants did not stop the run, and had to settle for FG's on multiple drives, but the turnovers negated the Cowboys chances to win the game. On another note, it looks like the Jimmy's big screen won't be near the issue it was made out to be, although it did appear the NBC was doing everything the could to get the bottom of the screen in the picture with each punt.

September 21, 200916 yr Tony Romo is awful. I love the Cowboys, but he is awful. Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett suck too. Im so angry right now.
September 21, 200916 yr Author  Someone posted this on another site: I'm real happy for you Giants fans n Ima letchoo finish... But the Jets win over the Patriots was one of the most convincing wins of all time...of all time!
September 21, 200916 yr  Someone posted this on another site: I've seen about 5 of these for different things... pretty old.
September 21, 200916 yr Author I've seen about 5 of these for different things... pretty old. I have not seen it for about 5 different things so I still found a little humor in it. :dancingpa
September 21, 200916 yr I'm ticked Dallas lost a game they pretty much dominated but there were a lot of good things I saw. First off the bad. The secondary looked pretty bad. Romo played terrible. The end of the game was bad...how do you play that hard the whole game then walk to your position on the last play before the kick? You could tell some players were expecting a TO to be called and were upset when it wasn't called. The good...they beat the Giants at their own game. Dallas run game looked a lot better than the Giants and that is a good sign. Just like I can't figure out why Randell Cobb doesn't get the ball more...I don't understand why you don't put the ball in Felix Jones hands more! He is electric (Bradshaw is too IMO). Barber looked great. NY had no answer to the bend iso play were the get all the flow going frontside and the FB let backside. They should have kept running it until the Giants found an answer. I thought the Dallas run D played well too and they got some shots in on Manning. I've said all along people have been down on Dallas this year. I think if they had stuck with their run game they would have won this game. The didn't stick with it and they lost. I tip my hat to the Giants who were banged up in the secondary and came into a hostile environment (man is that place amazing or what)! I thought it was nice of Jerry to bring Rudy...Eli's family...Madden + Bush (that was a funny sight). I hate to see a loss especially on a special night like this one but I saw enough out of Dallas to feel like they are right in the thick of things. I expected NY to be. NY fans have to be happy to see Manningham step up. Smith has been solid but I thought Mario looked like Eli's go to guy that he couldn't find after Plax last year. Forgot to mention NY got every break this game. Seemed almost like fate. Tipped balls...balls off the shoe etc. The officiating was as bad as I've seen in a NFL game in some time IMO both ways.

Forgot to mention NY got every break this game. Seemed almost like fate. Tipped balls...balls off the shoe etc. The officiating was as bad as I've seen in a NFL game in some time IMO both ways. First off, the only thing Dallas dominated was the run game. Their passing offense and defense were awful. Second, the Giants run defense was bad, but losing Tuck because of Flozell "Cheap shot" Adams hurt them. Also not having Canty in there to rotate hurt. Their deep defensive line was not so deep with those two out, and Jay Alford on the injured reserve. If those two come back, I expect a much improved run defense. Third, the Giants dominated the Cowboys at their own game, passing the ball. The Giants passing offense and passing defense were outstanding tonight. Felix Jones is very good though, and very fast. Gotta give him more touches. Dallas will be right in the mix to the end. They're tough. The Giants may have gotten "breaks" in the plays, but the refs tried their best to hose the G-Men out of some of them . And yes, the officiating was bad. They made some bad calls and missed some obvious ones. About Super Mario...he is the missing link. The Giants WR's will be outstanding once Nicks and Hixon get back. They are all young, fast, and can catch. I think Hixon may have lost his starting job though. Which doesn't bother me. I think he's a great punt returner and should focus primarily on that, and being a 3rd or 4th WR in the future. About Steve Smith, he has always been a good wide receiver. It just takes time to step up to that next level. I think he has. He runs some of the best routes I have ever seen. He has always been good at that, going back to the super bowl year. I expect him to have a long great career with the Giants. He and Manningham will make a deadly combination for a while, along with Boss, Nicks and Hixon. Lastly, when is Eli Manning going to get some love? The guy was nothing short of amazing tonight, especially on the final drive.
