Since it seems that some took offense, I was only talking about the few kids that were causing chemistry problems. I have nothing against the players that are currently on the team, they are all good kids and I am happy to have those players. But, there were some players who were not there for the right reasons, it didn't matter where they were from or where they went.

Derek Roback, the quarterback for Waverly is very impressive. He has a great throwing arm. He's also lightning quick and capable of taking over a game by himself. We will have to do a good job of keeping him contained. I think Coach Hart will have the Tomcats well prepared for this team and Ashland will continue to roll.

He is listed as a 3-star prospect and is committed to play college football for Toledo. According to the list I'm seeing he's ranked sixth in Ohio but rankings could vary.

Also Waverly's QB before Roback was Trevor Walls, I think he graduated in 2007. He got a full ride to New Mexico State. Waverly has been producing some fine QBs.:thumb: Walls threw for over 6200 yards at Waverly. I sure Roback has racked up some numbers in the air. I hope Ashland secondary in ready for the Air Raid.

I was sad to learn last night that Ben Stringer (OL) is done for the season - from a knee injury he got in the Ironton game. I hate to see him lose the rest of his senior season. He is a great young man, from a great family - I wish him a full and speedy recovery and all the best in his future.
