September 17, 200917 yr Who yout got? Last year I thought Dallas was a little overhyped and didn't like it. This year I feel the exact opposite. I think a lot of people are sleeping on them with the loss of T.O./Tank/Pac etc. I think it's going to be a great physical game between two teams pounding the rock. I like Dallas at home in the offical opening of the new stadium. This is the Sun night game which makes it even more fun!
September 17, 200917 yr The Giants have a lot of injuries in their defensive backfield. Both starting safeties (Michael Johnson and Kenny Phillips) sat out today with injuries, and they only have one other safety on the roster, so they better hope those guys can go. At corner, Ross and Dockery (the #2 and #4 corners on the roster) sat out last week and who knows if they will be back. If they're not back, rookie free agent signee Bruce Johnson will have to step in again and play well. With that said, the Giants have a great pass rush and they won't be as easy to move the ball on as Tampa was last week. Also, Dallas' defense got hosed for around 450 total yards last week against the Bucs...so I think the Giants will move the ball. The Cowboys and Giants seem to always play rough and close, so I'm not sure who will win, but I am sure there will be some big hits. Regardless of who wins, both teams will be competing for the NFC East with Philly throughout the entire season, IMO. Just for the threads sake, I'll make a prediction. Giants 27 Cowboys 20
September 17, 200917 yr There is still some uncertainty around Dallas. They made a strong showing in Tampa Sunday, but I need to see it more than once and against better competition. HB20 is right. You have to question the Dallas defense when it yields 450 yards to the Bucs. These two often play close games no matter what, so I'm hesitant to pick a wide margin, but I feel like the Giants are simply superior to Dallas at virtually every level. But, defense is particularly where I think the difference will be noticed. I'll take the G-Men, 34-20.
September 17, 200917 yr I think that the Giants are the better team, probably even with the injuries that HB20 described. But, I really feel like Dallas Statdium is going to be rocking and will create a wonderful home atmosphere, which will in turn be a great game. With all that said, I still think the Giants will pull it out.
September 17, 200917 yr No Poll? I take the Cowboys. Based on performances from week 1 I think both teams have improved and it will be a good game. T.O was a talented cancer that, IMO, held the Cowboys back. With no "me me me" WR Romo can focus on getting everyone involved and look for the open guy. He threw 3 TD's to 3 different people last week, and that was the first time he'd done that in his career. Cowboys keep momentum going and beat the Giants 35-27

Cowboys keep momentum going and beat the Giants 35-27 Only problem is Romo did that against a fairly weak defense with a lot of new faces. The Cowboys live and die off of the big play. So hopefully for the Giants sake their pass rush is able to get to Romo in time to preven that big play from happening. I hope this one ends up like the playoff game in Dallas two years ago.
September 18, 200917 yr I think Dallas is being over-looked quite a bit, but I still believe the Giants are the better team. I have the G-men the third best team in the NFC, but a slim margin between 1st and 3rd
September 18, 200917 yr Author The Giants have arguably the best run Oline in football but I think Tampa might have the most underrated in the NFL. I will be suprised if they don't run the ball well all year long. 2 guys I am looking forward to tracking this year if they can stay healthy is Felix Jones of Dallas and Ahmad Bradshaw of NY (former Marshall guy). Both of these guys are explosive as #1's playing as #2's. Interesting that both of these teams have solid Olines, probably the best two pounding backs as their 1's and home run hitters as their two's.
September 20, 200917 yr I'm taking the Boys in a wild one,42-38 I'll be shocked if either team scores that much!
