He was ok.

Best game Bailey has had. 117 pitches was still hitting 96 mph in his last inning. Cordero just didn't get it done. But the first base runner got on by error.

On a side note Tommy Hutton who is the color man for the Marlins did an inning with George Grande. They were a very good team. Insightful plus talked about a lot of old times. Kind of hated for Welsh to come back.

Homer does really well and no one is here to talk about it.

Where is everyone who couldn't wait to trade him?

Breaking news from ESPN:

In the 2009 season the Marlins are 2-0 when fkyw is there to root them on!

Walt says Drew Stubbs will be the CF next year.

Reds are 5-0 in the 7th, Miller with a 3 run homer.

Another good start for Bailey and two games in a row where the Redlegs score 10 or more. Wish they could play the Pirates every night.

Even though it the "Buccos" Homer gets by without having his best stuff.

The Reds are still playing???

Wow, well what do you know.

Yup, they play all 162 regardless.

They've also played a completely different brand of baseball since Scott Rolen has been here. They're 20-10 since August 22.

Johnny Cueto went to the DL & has since come back as a different pitcher. Homer Bailey has been very good in his last 6 - 7 starts.

Bronson Arroyo has something like 10 (maybe 11?) straight quality starts. After his 9th one, he had something like a 2.24 ERA, but a very mediocre record to show for it.

They have been fun to watch since Rolen has been in the lineup. He has been huge for this in more way than just at the plate. Bronson could easily have about 16 or 17 wins right now.

I think I said it another thread, but I have really enjoyed watching the Reds play. I tend to lose track of them on the weekends, but I watch them a few times per week and always follow them. They've been playing some quality baseball over the past month.

The Pirates are horrible. They've now lost like 22 of their last 25.

Reds win again today, as they finish the sweep of the Pirates on getaway day 4-1. Votto hits his 32nd double and they think he has 75 or 76 RBI now.

They've really been having a good time at Marty's expense on the TV broadcasts the past few nights. What a hoot!
