I apologize for not saying more yesterday. I kind of alternated between being blitzed and being in pain; so it wasn't too much fun. Everything did go well with the surgery. I was more or less awake through it, which kind of surprised me; however, I didn't feel a thing. The real "fun" started a few hours later when all the happy juice started to wear off. The rest of the day was spent mostly popping pills and lying in bed trying to sleep it off.

 

I owe you all a big thanks, as I truly believe each of your prayers made things that much better for me. And although I wasn't feeling it so much yesterday, this really is a great thing. I mean, you talk about "closure," well this is closure in its most literal sense. Next week, when I have one more little surgery, it will effectively close out a chapter in life that started way back in 1996...and, in a sense, even before that. So, this is really a moment of triumph, even though it's still a bit of a pain in the neck.

Oh, and a special thanks to True blue (& gold) for putting up with me last evening, and keeping my (somewhat muddled) mind occupied.

I'm not sure. All I can remember is a guy saying to call in the next 20 minutes because he couldn't do this all day. :confused:

No problem. If you recall (which may be unlikely :lol:) you and I accomplished a great deal. We graded papers, repaired a dryer and did football laundry. We were busy!
