September 4, 200917 yr South Carolina wins a defensive struggle in the opening game of college football.
September 4, 200917 yr N.C. State did a lot of talking going into this one and the Gamecocks proved once again that the SEC is the SEC.. The Gamecocks played terrible offensively and still won, their defense looked good.
September 4, 200917 yr N.C. State did a lot of talking going into this one and the Gamecocks proved once again that the SEC is the SEC. Really not much more can be said. I do find it odd that Spurrier can not secure a top notch QB to run his offense.
September 4, 200917 yr What a horrible game, but this next game is going to be a polar opposite IMO, I wouldn't be surprised if we see over 100 points scored in the night cap.
September 4, 200917 yr Author That really was a sloppy game....not to surprising, IMO.Sloppy is a good word for that game. But, at least college football season is finally here!!:dancingpa

September 4, 200917 yr This game will probably make me appreciate the Boise/Oregon game a lot more after watching that debacle.

September 4, 200917 yr South Carolina just became the worst team in the SEC East to me after watching that game.
September 4, 200917 yr Knew I should have jumped on SC. NC State seems to be a dissapointment year after year. Kind of glad to see they had no offense after the way they did Burke. I'm with you RP. Hard to believe Spurrier can't get a better QB.
