Larry French was a good coach at LC, but they had a big run of talent while he was there. The team is very yound and inexperienced right now. Nearly half of the team our freshman. The future is bright, Coach Settles is trying to build a program from little league on up. It takes time to that.

 

Actually, LC was very good at football before French every got there too.

Is there any heat on the coach in Lincoln County. Another 1-9 season won't look very good considering his previous team went to state last year and this team is only a couple years removed from the semi finals.

That team graduated some heavy losses, that went on to lay D1 Football, the cubard wasn't bare at LC when they went to the semi's, they had a lot of talent.

I thought that LC would win this game. Especially after the loss EJ had last week.

French went 3-7 and 5-5 his first 2 season with way more talent (2 future D-1 players). There is no heat on Settles, he's in it for the long haul....building the program from ground up.

After seeing Lincoln last night, they are far from good. But with that being said, I think they can challenge for a playoff spot. I believe they should be better than South Laurel and a win over them gets the Patriots to fourth in the district. That would be a nice forward step for Lincoln County this season.

Lincoln Co will be all right,just give them some time.
