I only saw the last quarter but c'mon, Muse is a deadly weapon when he scrambles. I thought the QB looked fine also, but to say Muse wouldn't have made much a of difference, isn't entirely accurate. The dual threat alone of Abner and Muse is tough to account for in the backfield.

 

Never said Chris wouldn't have made a difference. I was just stating that Zach played as well as Chris had up to the point that he left the game.

Still can be best team in school history, Pulaski (unless I am mistaken) has never won a district title. They still have the weapons and players to do that this year. Which would arguably make them the best team in school history.

I thought they won the district in 2003, maybe runnerup. But I remember them getting a trophy before a game.

In 2003 they were in the district with Boyle County. The Rebels beat them in the regular season to win the district and again in the playoffs to give the Maroons their only 2 losses of the year. So they have never won a district title in their program's history.

 

The best team in school history stuff came from a lot of the Pulaski parents--I'm not sure where they got it from.

Any updates on Abner or Muse?

My only surprise is the margin wasn't larger. The Jumpers have a fine team with a good blend of speed and power.

Heard today that Chris Muse is done for the year with an ACL tear and that Alex Abner is still suffering symptons from his concussion on friday night.

Sad to hear from a what could've been a great senior year from Muse. PC has a long road ahead of them now for sure.

I hate to hear that about Muse. An ACL will probably mess up his basketball season as well. I hope he gets back 100% and is able to go on and play in college if thats what he wants. Hopefully Abner will be back soon.
