Just another CLASSIC in this Rivalry! Pulaski's QB, Zack Eastham played a great game! He was stopped on the 1 yard line on 4th & goal from the 15 with 12 seconds left. Pulaski started the drive on its own 8 with just over 3 minutes to go. Hope everyone is ok after this one. Muse & Abner for PC, and Nelson for SHS.

I thought Eastham played a great game. Unfortunate about Muse, Abner, and Nelson. Hope they have a speedy recovery.

Eastham was very impresive and gutsy. He got knocked around quite a bit, but stuck in there and played really good.

Great game to watch. I hated to see Muse, Abner and Nelson leave with injuries. However, the kids that replaced them Zack Eastham, Shawn Haste and Jordy Jones all made some big plays in their stead. Both teams played their guts out tonight all the way to the final whistle and should be commended. Good luck to PC the rest of the way.

 

Congrats to the Jumpers on the 2-0 start. This is a much harder hitting, tough minded team than others in recent history. They've overcome a lot so far this season and hopefully will continue to have a special season. Great job and keep working hard.

I hate to hear this for Muse and Abner. When did they go out in the game. PC did a good job keeping it close losing so much of its offense.

Wasn't much of a drop off for PC. Eastham played a superb game filling in for Muse.

 

I'll be shocked if the cross town coach doesn't take a shot at something or someone over this game.

They both went out early in the first half. I'm not a big fan of Hines but you lose your 2 best players, that's alot.

I agree Eastham did step in nicely, if he would have thrown the ball like he did on the last drive earlier in the game PC wins IMO

He threw the ball pretty well the whole time he was in the game. However, most of the time he was trying to dodge Trey Slaughter or one of the other Briar Jumper pass rushers and didn't have time to throw. On that last drive the Maroon offensive line finally gave him time to throw. Plus Somerset had 2 plays (1 on the fake punt and one on RC White's catch) where they had a defender right there who should have made a play.

Sounds like a good game. I bet the Bunnies were hopping all over East 80.

My only surprise is the margin wasn't larger. The Jumpers have a fine team with a good blend of speed and power.

I only saw the last quarter but c'mon, Muse is a deadly weapon when he scrambles. I thought the QB looked fine also, but to say Muse wouldn't have made much a of difference, isn't entirely accurate. The dual threat alone of Abner and Muse is tough to account for in the backfield.
