The polling was definitely skewed to obtain a desired result--kind of like an MSNBC poll.

I'm pretty much in the same camp as Halfback and Birdsfan on this topic. We actually read several of Shakespeare's works in high school/college and I did in fact enjoy it. But, since that time, I haven't really spent any time reading his works.

The thread title clearly states this poll is for males. What's with all the post Birdsfan? :lol:

I've given much thought to your squirrel run ins over the years as it is indeed a perplexing dilemma. I'm sure it has been discussed at an earlier time, but do you think the fact that your BGP name is Birdsfan has anything to do with it? I say this because of the natural hatred that exists between birds and squirrels. A hatred I might add that is a result of the fact that, for many years, squirrels have, without remorse, stolen sustenance from feeders that are clearly intended to benefit birds.

I'm with RM, I appeciated it but can't say that I loved it. We read four plays a year for four years. I had some help with it. I had read Charles and Mary Lamb's version of many of the plays in grade school. I also saw a few of the plays performed. That also helps.

In high school I read it because I had to. In college I had a professor, kind of a Robin Williams type, who made it fun, and you read it because you wanted to be prepared for the inside humor.
