Nothing is wrong with them making a point and I haven't once said they were not within thier rights. I personally feel that the guns are being brought to these events as an intimidation tactic for those who do not agree with them on health care reform. They agree on the assualt weapons ban, background checks, keeping guns away from criminals, increasing age limits, trigger locks and closing the gun show loop hole. They disagree on liability suits for manufacturers and pretty starkly on concealed carry/carry. Footnote 269 I'm going to have to do a little more looking into because it cites an op-ed piece in the WSJ but that piece fails to cite where they got the information.

Criminals will get guns, legal or not. 2. I can assure you that Dr. Paul is NOT against prosecution for criminals who use guns in their crimes 3. Dr. Paul's opposition is to a federal database of gun-owners, which I agree with

If he was not close then why do some people seem bothered by it?
