Ryle sounds like they will be tough this year, but what a statement Coach Wirth and CCH will make if they go out there and get the win this Friday. I think the game will be hard-fought and will be decided in the fourth quarter.

Statement game for both teams with emotions running high in Union. CovCath must match scores in the first half or else I believe it will be a long night for the Blue Colonels once the emotions die down. The Raider running game has the ability to be extremely effective in the 4th quarter and Ryle's teams are always in good shape under Coach Warner. I expect Coach Wirth's team to be very well prepared and battle for 48 minutes. Still sticking to a 3 TD victory in Ryle's favor.

Cov Cath has a very strong d-line. Ryle has a very good running game. Should be interesting to see.

If you are referring to the d-line that was in action against HC this past Friday for the scrimmage...well I could think of many adjectives to describe them, I'm just not sure strong is one of them. Ryles running game will roll over that d-line, and if Hempel is on, that could be even worse for them. Not to mention, you have a kid in Elliot who takes 3 men to tackle him alone, and from what I witnessed the ability to take down has not improved since the past two years. I think it's going to be a rough game, but I think by the end of the year Covcath should be a bit more competitive. I will be in attendance, so I HOPE it's not as bad as what I think it's going to be.

lol, yes I'm a Ryle fan from now on. I'm hoping to see them to do very well, but I'm sure I'll be in attendance at plenty of CCH games.

 

And I do hope for yalls sake that those guys are healthy and that they add some strength to the defensive side of the things, because as I'm sure you know...Elliott alone is going to be a lot to handle.

From what I hear Ryle is going to be very good this year. I haven't seen either one this year so its hard to make these early predictions. I have a feeling Ryle wins this one in the neighborhood of 28-17.
