Not sure if Brock Walter was the AP showing them around. It may have been Mr. Dowdy. Ashland has 2 assistant principals. And, yes I agree with the other poster who said they should check out other schools. I also agree that wherever they end up I hope they have a good experience.

 

Still no idea as to whether elidgible to move schools for any of them without sitting out a year. I guess we all just have to wait and see the ruling.

Well, I just received a message from a student at Blazer that both Corey Gregg and Kyle Bush are being given a tour of Paul Blazer, as I type. Interesting that either would even consider Blazer since so many Rose Hill Basketball supporters are more than critical of Ashland on this forum.

 

Only time will tell.

I think it is more reprehensible for parents to hold their children back so that they are awarded a starting position, able to mature a year more, be stronger, faster, or whatever the pathetic excuse may be.

I agree with Blue Beetle. Holding back your kid for sport reasons is just telling them they are good but not good enough to play with the kids their age, let's give you and extra year and then you'll be the big dog. So wrong!!

I was being sarcastic. I personally see nothing wrong with it. I have a young son if he ever decides that he likes basketball enough to want to play at a higher level I will hold him back and allow him to be a more mature youg man if a college scholarship is what he is after.

I wouldn't hold my son back for athletic reasons, but I am not against it, especially in cases of trying to get a college scholarship. I missed the sarcasm in your post because a lot of people feel that way. College is expensive.
