I'm so happy that I don't qualify under the "most" category!! We 70's era players, despite the heavy cotton uniforms, the 40-ounce wooden rolling pins we used as bats and the "dead" baseballs, still managed to put together a pretty respectable game. And by the way Coop, I've seen ya', "young" and "modern" are not two words that readily come to mind!!! :lol:

 

And the wonderful smooth infields of today with grass instead of sand and gravel of my day's.

Correct me if I am wrong he did not play baseball in HS only basketball. played both in college under the late GREAT Jim Connor, at Coach Connors urging.

He couldn't have played in HS, because Latin didn't have a team. I think he played summer ball for Midland.
