Our 16th floor started springing leaks from wind/hail damage

 

Sewage backed up about 6" in the basement

 

An overhead pipe burst in the basement sending fresh water gushing into our dry goods storeage

 

The leaks on the 16th floor produced leaks downward througout the hotel.

This sounds like some major structural damage. :cry:

 

Is it true that the whole downtown is under water? Heard that a little while ago.

All of downtown WAS underwater. It's receding right now, but we're getting ready to get hit again. The torrents of water were so huge, that the manhole covers were blowing off the sewars in the streets.

We got some small hail in my part of the Original Highlands, right where it meets the Phoenix Hill neighborhood. Anyone else get hail?

Second round of storms has arrived in Louisville...

And that is flood insurance as regular home owner's insurance will not cover this stuff.

The mayor is being interviewed on The Weather channel. Stated the obvious, in that this is their third major weather related emergency in the past eight months.

 

He also mentioned that the National Guard and Coast Guard are assisting with moving two hundred patients from a hospital. The animal shelter is under water and the library has millions in damage.

Is it still raining in Louisville?
