NEERFAN Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 In today's Cincy Enquirer: http://nky.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/AB/20090723/SPT0302/907240357/ I didn't know Nik Brown was as fast as Miles, I expect big things from Brown as well as Miles this season.
liveblue4ever Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 What is Rich waiting for??? The sweater vest better get in the game before it is too late!
Ram Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 He could always go to Tennessee, they seem to like Kentucky kids. Just to get these repeated comments out of the way: Of course, he is probably not the kind of back that fits into Kentucky's system. :idunno: Plus they have to many backs as it is. :idunno: I suppose we just have to trust what Kentucky wants. :idunno: They have won three bowl games, so they must know what they are doing.:idunno:
sportsfan41 Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 I still really hope we get to see Miles play running back in college. I know it's not likely but I'd love to see it happen.

I hope so too, but he's a very underrated defender. Miles ran for 2700 yds but his biggest play was the interception against Campbell to clinch a spot in the playoffs. At least we have one more season to watch him play RB, and I will cherish this year, he's a sight to behold.

NEERFAN Posted July 25, 2009 Author Posted July 25, 2009 26th in the nation isn't too bad, I'd love to see the other 25.
goldendomer57 Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 26th in the nation isn't too bad, I'd love to see the other 25. So would I, I think he might be getting a lower rank because he isn't playing in a state like California or Florida.

Voice of Reason Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 IMO he'll be a safety in college. Isn't that what happened to his dad also - became a safety in college? That comes down to the 40 time. If he isn't fast enough for BCS D1 running back then they will probably make him a safety.

If he isn't fast enough for BCS D1 running back then they will probably make him a safety. His combination of size, strength, and ability to deliver a blow make him a prime candidate for safety. Some of the more progressive defensive schemes require a safety that can come up and play at the LOS or near it. I see him fulfilling that role.
