Bellevue is not ahead of Beechwood or Holy Cross...

I'd put them ahead of Cov Cath (don't kid yourself - they lost a ton!), .

I said CCH lost a lot, we'll use your word, "lost a ton", that's rather obvious. They also have some talent returning. There's no shame in playing behind those 7 seniors. Holy Cross has the best RH pitcher returning, and a nice supporting cast wit

 

Senior class has decent but not great talent. Solid ballplayers that Krumps will have to mold into a good team.

CovCath pitching should be deep enough, infield will be OK, catching no where near what CovCath has had for the last four years, outfield other than Martin it will be rough out their, and unless Mattie comes back 100% not a proven bat to count on at all. Krumps will love this team!

Conner should also be solid with West, Hubbard, Russel, and Samad returning. Some solid pitching for next season. They also have Pugh returning who hit nearly .500 with 4 or 5 dingers.

 

 

Conner returns three of their four outfielders. The only full-time position they have to fill is third base because Pugh played a lot of first(when Brake was DHing), Parker Ryle saw a lot of time catching and is very underrated behind the plate. Of course losing Brakes bat is a big hole to fill.

 

Returning pitchers: Samad, West(he will play), Russell, Hubbard, Delph, and Pugh.

Parker Ryle does a phenomenal job behind the plate and can really swing the bat at the plate too. Not to mention he is an excellent individual as well. Definitely very underrated. I look for him to blossom next spring into a very productive player!

Krumps has won 20+ games every year for about a quarter of a century. That equates to being in the mix every year, and anybody who doesn't think that will happen is nuts.

Beechwood lost more people then Bellevue did. They didnt play last year due to rain delays so we have no idea what team is going to be better. Its baseball anything can happen.

Boone lost 4 starters (Lokesak, Sciammanna, Carroll and Humrick). But they do return Cotton, Alford, Dunaway, and Laumann in the field. They also return 21 of their 24 wins on the mound. They only lost 1 pitcher.

 

Boone did lose 6 very good seniors but, they will have some good players moving up from the JV Regional Champ team. Wendeln who hit over .550 in the JV tournment plays outfield, catches, and also can play third. Stanley who played SS and pitched. Teegarden who played 2B and pitched. Then there are Crabtree, Montgomery, Alexander, Carzolli, and Baker. All very good players.

Did Bellevue not have any seniors? Beechwood lost three seniors. Bellevue did not make the regional. Beechwood won the regional. Beechwood has two of their top three pitchers returning, both of whom will likely be among the top pitchers in the region next year. True, it is baseball and anything can happen but based on the info we have, it is hard to see how anyone could rank Bellevue ahead of Beechwood.

When was the last time a Ninth Region Baseball team repeated itself in winning the Ninth back to back? Hasn't happened in a quite a while!

I get it , but I've seen less talented groups. In fact, I was on one, and we were right in the thick of it at the end of the year. We won 20+games when nobody expected it and could have won region. In a one game scenario anything can go down.
