Beechwood is losing there top pitcher and best hitters. I think Beechwood is going to have a tough season next year.

I don't think "tough" is the right word but replacing Smith and Snyder will be a challenge.

Conner will probably be in the discussion. Maybe Ryle. Dixie should be solid. Boone?

With out a doubt in my mind Dixie. Both Stansberry and Smallwood have been pitching very well this summer and pitching and "D" win you games. The only player I think they will be missing is Lesley who played second base.

I would have to say Dixie and Conner. Boone could also be a possibilty with Deno returning and Cotton in center field.

There will never be a season with CovCath outside of the top 5, so I would throw them in the mix.

I agree about Dixie and then maybe Beechwood as a solid #2.

Conner should also be solid with West, Hubbard, Russel, and Samad returning. Some solid pitching for next season. They also have Pugh returning who hit nearly .500 with 4 or 5 dingers.

Cov Cath lost a lot...who do they have coming back?

Besides losing a very talented class, I would suspect they also have a good chance to lose some players, to the track team. I mean, Cov Cath has a very good chance at winning state next year again in track, so why wouldn't guys consider doing what Van Sant did this past year - give up baseball and get a state champ ring in track??? Not sure who might do this, but I would say it is a real possibility. The track team won state and was very young this year.

Won't happen.

Won't happen.

What makes you so sure? If you were a kid who didn't get a lot of playing time or what have you, why wouldn't you look into running track and having a great shot at getting a ring? Think baseball has a shot at getting one?

1. Dixie

2. Ryle

3. Boone

4. Conner

5. Cov Cath
