June 16, 200917 yr First off, I love the NBA draft. This year, however, it is one of the weaker classes I can remember. From Blake Griffin on down, I am not seeing anyone that I like in this draft. Regarding Griffin - watching some of these series in the NBA playoffs, I have hard time believing he would be nothing more than just another body out there. He is a bit undersized at the 4 position. Not great range, poor FT shooter, no face up game, he can dunk and rebound, but I am sorry, I am just not seeing it. Not saying he will be a career 6 point and 3 rebound guy, but not near the level many people see him.

I agree...He isn't going to be the player that everyone thinks and I don't believe there are that many really good players in the draft...It's a poor draft and is one of the weakest I've seen.

June 16, 200917 yr I've saw where Meeks is projected to go in the middle of the 2nd round to the T'Wolves, to the 4th to last pick in the 2nd to the Hawks and then to not even drafted...

He could be very good IMO, but he and the rest of the Point Guards in this class picked a bad time to come into the league. It is packed with potential greats. Rubio will be a top 10 PG IMO but I don't think he will be better tthan Paul, Williams, Rose, Rondo, Devin Harris or Tony Parker.

Rubio did not pick a bad time to come in the draft as he will be the first PG selected and what is he and others supposed to do, wait for Paul, Rose, Rondo, etc to retire?? They can't just "pick" their time...Well obviously they can in a way but 1-2 years will not make a difference as those already dominant PG's in the league will likely be even more dominant.
