June 17, 200917 yr He could be very good IMO, but he and the rest of the Point Guards in this class picked a bad time to come into the league. It is packed with potential greats. Rubio will be a top 10 PG IMO but I don't think he will be better tthan Paul, Williams, Rose, Rondo, Devin Harris or Tony Parker. That just makes the NBA better to watch having all these star point guards.
June 17, 200917 yr I look for the OK city Thunder to have a good draft they have the third pick and could take Rubio or Harden both very good choices, then they have a second first round pick and either Lawson or Hansbrough could be available.

June 17, 200917 yr I think the player that will have the best NBA career in this draft will be Demar DeRozan. Also, Brandon Jennings (even though I'm not a fan of his personality), James Harden, Jeff Teague, and Jordan Hill will also fair well IMO

I understand that...There has to be at least 1 team that has interest in someone in the top 5...But as you said, I don't see many teams wanting to part with picks for next years draft.

June 17, 200917 yr Not sure taking Rubio and then Lawson makes sense when they have alot of holes. I agree if they take Rubio they should not take Lawson, but if they take Harden then Lawson would be a great pick.

Harden is who they should get. Rubio is the better prospect but they have young PG. Harden makes Green expendable and they could improve their team quicker. Thabeet would be the choice if he fell but that doesn't look likely.

Even worse than the 2000 Draft that had Marcus Fizer, Keyon Dooling, Jerome Moiso & Courtney Alexander as Lottery picks. Kenyon Martin, Turkoglu & Michael Redd were the only semi-bright spots that came out of that thing. Jamaal Magloire (UK) did make an all-star game or 2. Other players in the 2000 Draft: That's a strain on the eyes but it has the likes of Stromile Swift as the 2nd overall pick, Darius Miles (3rd), Marcus Fizer (4th), Mike Miller (5th), DeMarr Johnson (UC) (6th), Chris Mimms (Texas), etc.

June 22, 200917 yr This is going to be an exciting draft. We're going to see a lot of trades on draft day. I'd love to be holding picks from 20-25- there is going to be some talent (at least as good as picks like 6-10) for much less expensive then lottery picks.
