Frankfort 2009/2010

Featured Replies

What does Frankfort need to do to improve in 2009/2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Who is the new coach? I heard things are "Different" now.

So, you're gonna just leave that out there. C'mon, you gotta bring more than that.

Well I have to know who the head coach is and see how I think he can motivate the kids. and the thread is about what Frankfort needs to be successful and it will start with the coach.

Tony Wise is the new coach. Played at Scott Co. and at Georgetown College both basketball and football. Coached in Florida for a while and had some success. He will do a great job at Frankfort I'm sure. I think he was an assistant at Shelby Co. last year but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I hope it's different. I think they were 13-36 the last 2 years.

Well yea I hope it's different in that way too but I was being sarcatic about Frankfort getting these coaches from other counties or states. I just hope he doesn't get ran out in the next couple years.

If I remember correctly Frankfort was very young last year but had some talented guards.

I hope that they give Coach Wise a chance to build what they allowed to be destroyed. Does anyone know who is going to help Coach Wise? I hope he focuses on the middle school down for they need a tremendous amount of work.

The panthers will be way behind, they have not had any conditioning or open gyms. Most are playing something else. The middle school is the only presence in both.

I heard Former Western Hills Graduate Jordan Samuel’s was coaching Jv or maybe 8th... I wonder the same thing who is going to be helping him.

Samuels is coaching the 9th grade team and Norman is taking over the middle school program.

Jordan Samuels is great with those kids and will do a good. He has a much better temperament than his high school coach had . . .

6th and 7th grade has some really talented players. Norman should be a solid presence there along with Jeremy Howard (SSS teacher) who will be helping him.

This will be an interesting year to say the least.

Coach Norman? Like that coached back in 2003-2005
