they have set that program back espically if the talk of kids transfering is true.

 

Let 'em transfer. IMO, one of Elam's biggest concerns were trying to keep everyone happy. If he played the older kids, the kids coming out of middleschool threatened to attend Barbourville. If he played the younger kids, the older ones threatened to transfer. His teams never matured and it finally did him in as well as cost the school championships. It will be the downfall of the next coach also unless someone lays down the law.

One of the things I have heard is that a certain admin was going to keep his job if a certain coach was not retained. How can you look at this program and say that it is in worse shape than another certain program that is at KC. There is too many politics involved in that area.

It has just been very quiet. I would have figured that they would have done it by know if he was going to be named.

If I am not mistaken I believe he coaches at Clinton Co. and used to be at Clay Co. I maybe wrong about that, but thats what I was thinking.

He played at Clay Co and use to coach there he in now the Head coach at Clinton. He may be trying to get back closer to home.

The news I get is only 5 applied for the job and 2 were out of state. Also possibly they will be holding interviews on Monday?:ohbrother:
