Top 5 QB's in Eastern Ky. next season?

Featured Replies

Help me out on this one guys. I believe Breathitt Co. and Williamsburg has solid QB's.

Breathitt's Jade Haddix should be much improved from last year as he has gotten stronger and should have more confidence!

Aaron Watts from McCreary will definately be one of the top QB's in 2009!

Raceland should be thick with talent

I hope so!:idunno:

And he's got possibly the top player in the state to hand the ball to...with defenses being forced to key on Fugate, Haddix and his WR's have a real opportunity for some big plays if they can capitalize. They were solid last season, but I'd love to see them get better and become a more reliable threat in the offense.

I don't know who the other top QB's are, but Breathitt County has a good one for the high school level.

I expect Johnny Ray Fugate from North Laurel to really step up his game this season. He took over as the starter about midway thru his sophomore season last year, which really allowed Wardrup to show his skills as a RB. He improved quite a bit and having seen him play for many years, he has the potential to be a very good one. Having a former QB like Chris Larkey to work with him will just make him better.

Are you having some doubt in Raceland QB situation?

I think he is speaking of the fact that we have three good candidates, and it would be absurd to think that, at least, one of them would not be very talented.

Williamsburg has rising senior Ryan Moses back at the helm. By season's end he will shatter all school records and give chase to a few state wide records as well. A fine QB, and better yet a good person. Also 4.0 or better in the classroom.

Who will be the backup QB or the next in line for that position after Moses?

Everyone in Raider Land is Expecting Aaron Watts to have a great year. He will def. be one of the Top 5 QB in Eastern Ky.

You can't leave him off the list. After his predecessor graduated, many thought the offense would drop off. With Moses at the helm, it most certainly has not. He has put up some great numbers and I have also heard he is a terrific kid as well!

Will LeBanion be the QB at Whitley? If he is look for good things from him....all around great athlete!

After being the starter for the past two seaosns as a sophomore and junior, I look for Rockcastle County's Dustin Bishop to have a pretty good seaosn this year.

As for Aaron Watts at McCreary Central, I will give him the credit he is due for his talents because he is a really good athlete but I wouldn't (and most on this site as well) consider McCreary Central as being a team from Eastern Kentucky. Just my opinion but like I said though, he is a really good athlete.
