Was there ever any doubt? Like I posted in other thread, will he also be coaching football and boys baseball as well as softball next season for BC?

LOL, I doubt that one! What are the thoughts on this hire? Is this hire just a waiting game for Tony Johnson to retire from the superintendent job, so they can hire his son Jamie Johnson from Deming? I say this could happen shortly after the King boy's graduate from Deming! What does everyone else think???

I have heard rumors that speaks to what I said. I can somewhat believe what I am hearing!

The softball parents love this guy, could their pull in the school system have played a part. He's yet to win more than one regional tournament game that can remember or send more than one or two in to a college program(maybe BearFacts can tell for sure). If they don't win at least 2 regional tournament games this season, they will have yet underacheived again. Sure do hope he turns boys program around

Gold Sunrise, you must have not drank your coffee this morning. Bracken County plays Nicholas County, if they win they will play the winner of Clark County and Brossart in that side of the bracket. Bracken County has beaten all three teams this season.:thumb: We are talking about softball who Persinger is the coach of the Bracken girls.

Well this is the boys basketball forum, the thread is about Persinger being named the new boys basketball coach....isn't that what this thread is about?

Well I think this is a great choice. Congrats!! to coach Persinger. Should of happened last year.
