June 25, 200917 yr I guess I can see it being done but you would have to have a lot of practice on it. There are multiple steps in the problem. The 1st thing to establish is 45 and 15. the only answer to get 120 in a rectangle with length 3x width and = 120. Then you have 2x+1=15. x=7. A=width x length. In my head went 45x10=450. Half of that (5) = 225 a=675. I was sitting at my desk working on some logistics, didn't use a calc. Has to be my excellent high school education:D
