May 11, 200917 yr Mrs GT and I are planning a trip to Hilton Head next month and wanted to get the low down on some fun things to do and most importantly the best places to eat. Thanks...
May 11, 200917 yr It has been several years but there is a brewpub there that I like quite a bit. I have totally forgot the name but I doubt there are many others there. Also the bar by the lighthouse in Harbor Town is a cool place too and the food isn't bad either.
May 11, 200917 yr Salty Dog is a popular attraction. They have an Longhorn down there. Outside of the beach its a bunch of lil stores to shop at with most of your main stream resteraunts you find back here.
May 11, 200917 yr Steamers. There is one on Hilton Head but if you really want to experince the best in low country cooking, head over to Beaufort (better than the resturant on Hilton Head). Just across the old bridge in Beaufort on Lady's Island is a hole in the wall called Steamers. Best steaks and best Frogmore Stew.:thumb: Also, if you head out towards Fripp Island from Beaufort you will run into Johnson Creek tavern for the best in low country atmosphere. Great food, even better bar.
May 11, 200917 yr Salty dog blows.. Harbor town had some a few good places to eat. We ate at a ranky dank fish place and it was the best lobster I've ever had. I'll look up the name of it for you.
May 11, 200917 yr I lived in HHI this summer, and the best seafood place to me is Hudson's. Great view and great food. As for bars, I'm only 19, so I've never been in one. However, from what I "hear", Remy's was fun. Wild Wing Cafe has some good drink specials and a billion flavors of wings this summer. And definently go down to Harbortown at least once. GT, where you staying?

May 11, 200917 yr Hilton Head Beach and Tennis resort is where we are staying... Is that back in Sea Pines?
May 12, 200917 yr http://www.hhibeachandtennis.com/directions.php That area of the island is a bit quieter, I think, but still very nice. I think there is a huge shopping centre sort of near there that has a big fireworks display that I never remembered, but is really cool.
May 12, 200917 yr http://www.hhibeachandtennis.com/directions.php Haven't been there but it looks very nice. Just so ya know, there isn't a Hofbrouhaus on Hilton Head. To add to that, one of the owners of the Hofbrou had a sailboat and he has a great story about he and his boat in Harbor Town.
