May 11, 200917 yr He just said that he wanted to come back and get his degree, play for Cal and enjoy what they may accomplish next year with all the talent they will have. He said the NBA will be there when he decides its time to go. He did mention that he texted Meeks and told him he was coming back and he said ok and that was it. He said he wasn't trying to influence him in any way about Jodie coming back too.

May 12, 200917 yr You have to give Patrick credit. He stood up for Gillispie until the last minute and hasn't trashed him in public, not many tennagers are that mature. The Pattersons have raised a fine young man.

The Pattersons have raised a fine young man. You are correct. But IMO no one should trash Billy G. He came in and was do what he thought it took to win. At the end he stood by his philosphy in coaching, so they fired him. Right or wrong you have to like Billy G.
