May 1, 200917 yr Do you know that's the reason why he is doing that? Or is that maybe, just maybe, he cares about his future and is uncertain what to do. He is a teenager. Just because he doesn't do what some diehard UK fans want him to do doesn't mean he's a crazed attention kid. Give him a break, he is a kid and there is more to worry about in life than what a kid is doing with his decision is going to be. :thumb:

I really dont care if he comes to UK or not...if he's not doing it for the attention then why is he doing it? So far no one has answered this question yet...
May 2, 200917 yr I really dont care if he comes to UK or not...if he's not doing it for the attention then why is he doing it? So far no one has answered this question yet... Yea, I think Les answered it perfect in post #44.

Give him a break, he is a kid and there is more to worry about in life than what a kid is doing with his decision is going to be. So your reasoning is because he doesn't know where he wants to go yet? Way to go out on a limb there ...Can you explain to me how picking a certain school over another will affect his future? Ok here are some scenarios.... He chooses Miami (FL)... He lives in South Beach for a year plays for the Canes'. They go to the sweet 16. He is a top 5 pick in the 10' draft. He chooses Kentucky...He lives in Lexington for a year, plays for the Wildcats and contends for a national championship. He's a top 5 pick in the 10' draft. He chooses Duke...He lives with Nerds for a year, plays for the Blue Devils and contends for 2nd best in the ACC ... He's a top 5 pick in the 10' draft He chooses No. Carolina Central...He stays close to home...takes them to the big dance (O boy ) and they lose in the first round... He's a top 5 pick in the 10' draft Whatever school he picks he is still going to be a top 5 pick in the draft that very next year... So why not go to a school where your chance at winning a National Championship is best? Many of you all on here have said you go to the school that gives you the best chance at the NBA and the best chance to win a title right? So why would he pick a school other then UK? (please give another reason other then his mother's health)
May 2, 200917 yr Im just backing up my claims... And what are you claims and backing up how?
May 2, 200917 yr My claim was that no matter where Wall goes his draftability can't get any better. He's a top 5 pick wherever he goes. So since this is the case, why not go to school where you have the best chance at winning a national championship? Many of you all on here said that is what players want; championships and to get to the NBA. And out of his list of schools, UK has the best chance at winning that next year if he were to come...

Yes, he will probably be a top 5 pick, but nothing is certain. As far as his list, only he possibly knows who the list consist of. If he went to UK, Duke, NC, UF, Kansas or maybe 10 other schools for that matter, they would have a chance to win and win alot.
May 2, 200917 yr He's the #1 pick in the draft next year......and out of Miami, Duke, and UK....whichever will be a solid contender.

Ok I am willing to put the house up that he will attend one of the following schools... Kentucky Miami (FL) Florida Duke North Carolina If he goes to any school not named here I will put the Duke as my avator... And if he attends any one of these schools he makes them an elite eight team (except Miami FL) sorry Canes'...

(please give another reason other then his mother's health) Bold assumption there. UNC and/or Duke would have every bit of a chance to be a bigger Final Four contender than UK if he were to arrive. I might add they have a stronger recent track record than the Cats as well. (BTW, before anyone wonders, I'm as big a UK fan as anyone on here. I just try to look at it with a more balanced view than some.)

Wall Meeks Miller Patterson Cousins UNC/Duke would be a final 4 contender but no better then UK...Remember we did add Demarcus Cousins...

Meeks and Patterson have yet to say what they are going to do. Cousins hasn't passed his test yet. The only ones you can say for sure are going to be in that lineup as of today, are Miller and Orton. Get that lineup solidified and then we can have a discussion. Put Wall on Kansas or Duke and they will become a Final 4 team easily. Put him on Kansas and they win it all and possibly go undefeated. Put him on Duke and they win the ACC and make the Final 4. I'd debate about how good UNC would be. They would make the Sweet 16, but the jury is out on what all of the new faces taking over will look like at Chapel Hill.
