May 2, 200917 yr Just remember two blown games involving Co Co, the Marlins and Cody Ross last year. Co Co proved me wrong tonight, and I'm very happy about that. He sure has been lights out thus far.
May 2, 200917 yr Rosales with a baserunning mistake again tonight. Votto is a smooth. Another outsanding performance by the starter, Arroyo.

He's not a burner by no means, but does run decent. Alot of coaches will tell their base runners, when there's a lefty on the hill and you have decided your going, then you go on the first move. Not even close to an issue.
May 2, 200917 yr Author Rosales with a baserunning mistake again tonight. Votto is a smooth. Another outsanding performance by the starter, Arroyo. Again? You kill me CC. You simply can't let it go can you. Rosales obviously went on the left handers first move tonight. He's 2-4 with 2 RBI, and 3 BB so far, but keep complaining.

I still think Edwin needs to perform if these team has any thoughts of contending. I don't have a problem with Rosales getting picked off. I love the aggressiveness and he did the right thing. You continue running. But why shouldn't we acknowledge it? As we all know, this team doesn't have the capability to waste many opportunities. If calling them as you see them is complaining, then I'm guilty. If asking a question about what benefit a "run on contact" play has to offer is complaining, then I'm guilty. I'd like to see this team win a lot of games this year and don't think we will if don't maximize our opportunities. Especially with runners on third base.

May 2, 200917 yr Another shutout, this pitching has been great. I'll take the good with the bad with Rosales right now. He has brought some energy to the team. Yeah, he had a base running blunder. But he also had a hit and made an awesome catch. The pitching is carrying the RedLegs (I feel awkward saying that).

You said he did the right thing, what is there to acknowledge, he guessed wrong? I will agree that he guessed wrong, but to call it a base running mistake, or blunder, just isn't accurate.
May 2, 200917 yr No you said that Rosales had a base running mistake again. Name the first one. Wednesday night. 2nd & 3rd, 1 out. Groundball to the 3rd baseman, he's out at home. Somehow, you interpreted Dusty's comments as saying the run on contact play was on. I didn't. I don't think anybody would disagree that geting picked off of first is a mistake. But Rosales did the right thing in continuing to run, once he went. I love aggressive baserunning and that's exactly what that was tonight. Things like that happen.

Edwin probably wouldn't have moved...

Thom and Jeff ackowledged it on TV as well. We get it, you don't like the play, but the play is still called all the time all through out baseball.

You know you can't call it like you see it with the Reds. You're a hater if you speak the truth. That's been shown on here CC. How dare you not drink the Reds Kool-aid.
May 2, 200917 yr I agree with him getting picked off. Not much question about that. As for the play the other night, I think you guys need to let it go. We did win the game right?
