Rosales is awesome. Plays hard and looks like he will really help the offense.

How about that defensive play by Rosales last night. :ylsuper::ylsuper:

I mentioned that last night as well, I loved it. The best part about it was the lady's reaction in the front row.

I watched that replay a few times. The fans' reaction were priceless. The guy who went for the catch thought he had it.

If July rolls around and the Reds are still in contention, do we look to make a deal for another bat?

If Rosales continues to hit, it allows this team to do a lot of things.

Where is Wilkin Castillo? Is he in AAA? Love his versatility.

FWIW, Votto is 3/4 against Ohlendorf, the pitcher tonight:

I'd like to see this lineup tonight:

CF - Taveras

2B - Phillips

1B - Votto

RF - Bruce

3B - Rosales

LF - Nix

C - Hernandez or Hanigan

SS - Gonzalex

P - Owings

If the Cardinals don't slow down everybody is going to be out of contention by July.

It will be very interesting to see Dusty's lineup tonight. Does he stick with Nix, and his hot bat, or does he run Dickerson back out in LF. I will be extremely disappointed if it's the latter.

This link says Dickerson has been cleared to play & is expected to be in the lineup Saturday.

You know you can't call it like you see it with the Reds. You're a hater if you speak the truth. That's been shown on here CC. How dare you not drink the Reds Kool-aid.

:laugh::laugh: Just like a lot of other things that have been proven on here. :sssh::rolleyes:

Rosales 2-2 already, Gonzo with a 3 run bom, Reds trail 5-3 in the 4th.

Reds lose 8-6. Not a good night of baseball for the Reds. A lot of mistakes tonight. Owings struggled the first couple of innings, but pitches pretty decent after that. Gonzo with a three run homer after the Reds were down 5-0 to make it 5-3 in the 4th inning I believe. The score stayed that way until the 7th when the Pirates had the bases loaded with one out. Weathers comes in to induce a sure fire double play ball, but Rosales with a big miscue, even though the error went to Phillips, Rosales was to blame for the Reds not getting out of the inning. Phillips dogged it again, (2nd time in a week) this time on a pop up to short RF. Sanchez dropped the ball, and Phillips was standing on first. Baker needs to teach Phillips a lesson IMO. I remember Charlie Manual benching Jimmy Rollins in between innings last year against the Reds for doing the same thing.

Rosales finished with 3 hits.

I thought there should have been two errors on that play. 1 each for Rosales & Phillips, since there were 2 runners who scored.

Rosales has been a great addition to the team. I think he's won the job at third already. Anybody think Rosales can play left? Or Edwin?

I'm fed up with Phillips loafing too. I was upset to see him standing on 1st after that, but I knew he would be there.

Gonzalex continues to hit the ball hard. Big HR tonight. And a good defensive play to pick off a Pirate at first. Taveras deserves a shout out on that play as well, as he came up throwing and put one on the money. No way we could've gotten an out with a lazy through or a throw over the cut's head. Fundamental baseball.

As disappointing as Phillips' attitude is, he's starting to hit the ball.
