Track The Draft

Featured Replies

There are also some on here that support nearly everything the Bengals do, including their draft picks.

Sounds like someone else on here with a certain New York franchise....:D

Whether you guys believe it or not, I want this team to win. I went through both Super Bowl seasons having season tickets during the second one. There is nothing like it when the Bengals are a playoff team. I loved it. But unfortunately this franchise died when the old man retired. Mike Brown has proven year after year that he has no clue. I bash this franchise because they deserve it. Now do I think this draft has been good. Yeah on paper appears so. But we won't really know for a couple of years. I just find it hard to get all giddy, when history has shown undoubtedly things will probably not be great for the Bengals.

The Eagles have only made two picks, I wouldn't rate them top 5.

NBCSports rated the Giants and Ravens as A+ day 1 drafts.

I don't think the Bengals are top 5 right now. I really did not like their first pick.

I love their 1st pick. They needed to address the o-line & I thought Smith was the way to go. I wouldn't have minded Monroe either, but I preferred Smith based on his performance on the field.

I love what the Bengals have done this draft. It's tough to argue with anything that they have done. In year's past, it has been a crapshoot. This year, they seemed to actually address some needs & filled those needs with a lot of talent.

My only gripe would be taking a punter in the 5th round. But even so, our Punter has been horrible & the kid from UC was a stud. Can't really complain about that.

I'd love to see them take a RB to round out the draft.

Well I seem to remember the GMen winning a Super Bowl. How about the Bengals? Have you even seen them win a playoff game?

While I don't support everything the Giants do completely, I would think my support of their decision making is more justified than any full support of things the Cincy franchise has done. The Giants, I would have to say, have been consistently good while Cincy has been consistently bad.

Either way, even if I do disagree with some of the things the Giants do, I realize that the people working behind the scenes making those decisions know far more than I do.

This is looking as if Hunter Cantwell could be this year's Mr. Irrelevant.....speaking of which check this out....pretty cool...

Well said, and I understand where you're coming from.

I have never seen a good Bengals team. Unless you count the Wildcard year under Carson.

I'm quick to bash the Bengals. They've earned it, and I feel like I've earned it through my years as a loyal fan. I try to stay objective...at times, I'm probably too negative and other times I'm overly positive.

I feel confident in saying that this has been an absolutely great draft, to this point. Obviously you won't know for sure until a few years down the road, but I don't anticipate any problems with any of these guys. And I think they're all super-talented.

The "character issues" that this year's draft has is nothing like the character issues that we've had in the past. Odell Thurman was a trouble-maker. AJ Nicholson was a trouble-maker. Shirley (from Fresno) was a trouble-maker. This year's class does not have trouble-makers.

I just think it may be a problem that this guy got kicked off his college team and missed a major bowl game. I do think athetically Smith has more potential. But throw in the weight issues, and an obvious disloyalty to his team, I think thats a problem. Why is speaking the truth on here always labeled as negative or hating? It is what it is. You don't think his past is a problem well thats fine. I obviously have a different opinion of character than you.

Why was that mc?

Just as I'm sure the guys behind the scenes for any NFL team do....My point is, fans of every team are going to support most things their team does, so I find it hilarious that you do the same thing that you bash on Bengals fans for doing.

Nice sleeper pick by the Titans to get Javon Ringer. I think LenDale is in a contract year this year. Tennessee is another team that has put together a solid draft

Players Drafted:

Abilene Christian - 2

Kentucky - 1

Best draft in years for the Bengals.
