April 21, 200917 yr ...for basically sitting there and taking it while Ortega blasted the US and then just crack wise about it and say he was glad he didn't get blamed. Does "our" president truly hate the United States or is he just so Messianic and Narcissistic that he truly doesn't care what's said about this country as long as he can say it's not his fault? And before anyone blasts me for being totally unreasonable and negative regarding Obama, please listen to avowed lefty Jeanne Garafollo blasting the ordinary citizens that took part in the Tea Party protests calling them all racist rednecks.
April 21, 200917 yr I am totaly fed up with him going around and apoligizing for this great country and saying how terrible we are.

The funny thing about this is, this same person Garafollo back in 2003 with the same KO as the interviewer, sung a completely different tune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxP9ZHz4FQs Another Hollywood Liberal Hypocrite!:puke:

April 21, 200917 yr Author Do any Obama supporters have anythiong to add? I really want to know how "our" leader can sit and listen to Ortega rant for an hour and do nothing but apologize. If the US is that bad why would someone who holds themselves in the obvious esteem that Obama does himself even WANT to be president?

If the US is that bad why would someone who holds themselves in the obvious esteem that Obama does himself even WANT to be president? Obama is following the same creed that Jimmy Hart taught Hulk Hogan years ago. Keep your friends close....and your enemies closer. It seemed to work out pretty well for The Hulkster.

You'll have to forgive me, but what many of you all see as apologizing is nothing more than admitting faults and the desire to improve them. It could be different here, but if you want a discussion from an Obama supporter (such as myself), I would need to see what specifically you are referring to.
April 21, 200917 yr Author I'm referring specifically to the fact that he sat through an hour long diatribe by Daniel Ortega in which Ortega blasted the US as the cause of all problems in the Western Hemisphere. He then said something to the effect of at least he didn't blame me for things that happened when I was three months old. I have less of a problem with his remarks then I do with him basically sitting through Ortega's diatribe. He should have politely walked out. If you're rally interested in what was said I'm sure you can find it somewhere. I heard it on TV last night.

I thought that you would be one the one to provide the supporting links. I wanted to make sure that we were discussing the same thing. What you have posted above is not apologizing in any way shape or form. It seems to me that too many people are getting worked up over words of leaders of countries, such as Venezula and Mexico, that are in no way world powers.

April 21, 200917 yr Author I have no idea and frankly don't care. What did he accomplish letting Ortega blast us?
April 21, 200917 yr London’s Daily Telegraph observed that President Obama “went further than any United States president in history in criticizing his own country’s action while standing on foreign soil.”

April 21, 200917 yr I'm assuming the question in the opening post is rhetorical in nature...that no answers are really being solicited?
April 22, 200917 yr Author No, I really want to hear someone defend Obama's actions. What did he accomplish by sitting and listening to Ortega slam us.
