While the 'Gals don't need 5 pro bowl caliber lineman, they are also nowhere near where they need to be for Carson. If we are looking at the most likely pick for the Bengals in the first round, Andre Smith has more questions than answers. I feel it may be another long year for the Bengals.

^ I really wish that were the case. I really believe our defense is markedly improving, but as much as the defense has improved, I feel that the offense is steadily falling apart. I feel as long as Brown is calling the personnel shots, we may be the lovable losers.

I'm quite certain I paid enough attention both to your post, and the previous draft and I'm simply stating that's not the rule.

I think it all goes hand in hand. Fitzpatrick is no Palmer, however he is more mobile obviously. Can't hit an open receiver because when guys play you with 6 in the box due to the fact that you can't run the ball (also an indictment of the OL) and you have 5 DB's in coverage. OL can't hold the rush out long enough to allow Usain Bolt to break free. And as to the drafting a LT first and shoring up that OL, who is the last guy who stepped in at LT after the draft and played that position at a high level in their rookie season?

Not saying that it's impossible, but seriously, with the draft history of this team and apart from the pre-draft hopefulness is Bengalnation hanging their collective hats on A. a rookie LT or B. There's no doubt that the Bengals' draft history is poor. I'm not disputing that.

I haven't seen any of those in this thread. The schedule lends itself to the potential for a decent number of wins, but I haven't seen anyone saying they are close to a playoff caliber team. I mean if all the potentially winnable games are won, then yeah, they may make it, but that's about as likely as the Cubs winning a World Series...

Seeing as they'll be 0-2, should probably be able to get tickets pretty reasonable. I've never been to PBS.
