I would hope that they'd be remotely worried about his durability given his track record and the quality of lineplay he has to endure. I don't think there's any doubt that Carson is the most important player to keep healthy and in the game because he drives the bus, but I think it could be argued there there are others who have been the best player.

I would have easily picked Denver before the Cutler situation, now this could be a toss up.

If the team can stay healthy and the offensive line can be decent they have a chance to win some ball games. I really liked the way the defense battled last year without much help from the offense.

Carson Palmer would be very difficult to replace. Same goes with Housh, although I think we've got a good enough WR corp to fill in. I look for big things from Caldwell, and if Henry can stay on the field, he'll the deep threat needed to open up the middle for Caldwell.

I'd be pleasantly surprised if Caldwell approaches TJS #s. Because of his lack of mobility Carson will not survive behind this line. Whether it be his leg, elbow, face, back, neck or head, he's in trouble unless they figure out a way to completely overhaul the line.

They will address the left tackle in the draft. And I think their most important pick may be the 2nd round in getting one of those three top centers. I hope they end up getting Wood from Louisville, I have heard that he is not only talented but very smart. The Bengals have'nt had that since they lost Brahm, which is when the line started having problems.

Exactly, it doesn't matter who the best player was last year, 2009 is about what Palmer can do. For him to have the season we need him to have, we need some OL, I don't care who the receivers are, if the Bengals get some quality OL the season is looking really good.

I think looking at that schedule, there are a lot of winnable games for the Bengals. If, and I said if, they get some quality OL I think the playoff are a realistic possibility.

There has been very good starting linemen taken in the last few drafts who came in and started and play very well. This years crop may even be deeper just what the doctor ordered for the Bengals.

^ Exception not the rule, very few times do you run into a guy like Joe Thomas who can come in and be a pro bowler right away. While the 'Gals don't need 5 pro bowl caliber lineman, they are also nowhere near where they need to be for Carson. If we are looking at the most likely pick for the Bengals in the first round, Andre Smith has more questions than answers. I feel it may be another long year for the Bengals.
