SouthernSportsFan Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 From another site.. Both Bob Domine from a Louisville new station and Larry Vaught said that everything that has happened today is as expected, including his denials. They still believe Donovan to UK.
Sean02 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 A current head coach is not going to say, " Hey, I'd love to leave this place and go coach at UK." But...I don't know. Anyone watch NCIS? My gut doesn't feel good on this one.
SouthernSportsFan Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 WAVE 3 sports guy is apparently in the know with Barnhart and they were told this is exactly how it was suppose to play out and Donovan will be the coach.
BANKSHOT Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I'll admit Im surprised you would start this thread at this point.
16thBBall Fan Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Why would he just not sit and not say anything until he is announced as the coach. He came out on his own and said he was not interested. If he does now take it to me he starts out with credibility issues.
Hatz Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Sorry, but I trust NCC98 (from his past calls in this category) and until he says it's a possibility, I'll choose to ignore and just  (Then again, I hope I'm wrong.)
SouthernSportsFan Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 I'll admit Im surprised you would start this thread at this point. Surprised? How many threads are started with speculation. This is another. No reason to be surprised. I didn't "claim" anything.
The Professor Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 These guys playing games.:isurrender: But I guess it has to be that way.

Dont take me wrong Im not bashing you. His statement means nothing to me because how many coaches have we seen do the exact opposite of what comes out of their mouth.

His statement means nothing to me because how many coaches have we seen do the exact opposite of what comes out of their mouth. Very true and I understand your position. I just thought I would throw that information out and let me know what people outside of the forums say.

You said a number of times in the new coach thread yesterday. That Donovan would be the next coach or as you said had/will accept the job.
SouthernSportsFan Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 [/b]You said a number of times in the new coach thread yesterday. That Donovan would be the next coach or as you said had/will accept the job. Then you need to re-read what was said. I said I would be surprised if he wasn't the next coach and that everyone I knew believed he would be. That still may be the case... :sssh:
westsider Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I think it's correct to say that Donovan is UK's first choice. However, it doesn't mean he wants the job or will accept it.
