Ryan Mossakowski may be able to compete for the job right away based on what I have heard as recently as tonight. I was concerned about coming off of his shoulder surgery that he may not be at 100%. However, a relative of mine ran into Ryan's father at a conference in California last week and they talked for about 15-20 minutes. Ryan's dad said the surgery was a complete success and he is throwing the ball right now as well if not better and stronger than before the surgery.

 

2 top notch HS QB's coming in with a returning starter at the helm should drive them all to be better. Hartline is hearing the word on the street that his time as the QB could be limited with this talent coming in giving him even more incentive to prove himself & you have 2 young guns wanting to prove they belong under center in the SEC. This is a good thing in the long run IMHO.

 

I'll take Newton over "Moss", let him redshirt and get healthy.

Morgan Newton reminds me of a more athletic version of Andre' Woodson.
