Did they get a extension because they never made it far enough in basketball to be ending that late.

Anyone have any updates on the Harrison County job? I haven't heard anything lately. Of course, it's baseball season now anyway, so nobody is really interested in who is coaching football.

Has anyone heard who is applying for the job? I have heard rumors that 3 current high school head coaches have applied, but I don't they have done anything to prove themselves as successful head coaches. That would be just what Harrison County needs to have moving in to the new stadium. Unbelievable!

The question you should be asking is, "Why aren't people interested in the job?" I don't have the answer to the question, but it would be interesting to hear some answers.

Pay cut of 7,000.00 from last year for head coach, no support from the admin to amount to anything. Those are two good reasons why no one would won't the job don't you think?

How much did the head coach make to start with if he got cut $7000? That is not much more than alot of head coaches make to start with.

I don't think it is a $7000 pay cut. And who is to say no support from the administration. The Football program got a state of the art weight room and didn't take care of it years ago. Many times if the band wasn't performing at halftime there wouldn't be a crowd at all. And, since there will be know standing on the sidelines and walking on the track at the new field their won't be many people attending anyway. Thay have to work to earn the support of the administration and from what I have heard Coach Stepp burned a lot of bridges for the football team in the short period of time he was here. There must be a lot of mending before things get better. The administration did build them a new stadium. When was the last time the administration did anything for the baseball team? I have been around the sprts program at HCHS for years and I can't remember the administration doing anything for the baseball team even when they won 3 state championships. They got what they have by hard work from the parents and baseall boosters. And, with the success the baseball team has year in and year out it is a real shame that they lag so far behind with their baseball facilities.
