Was there any doubt? Way to go Rams

Thanks for the info Ram. It is good to see the Orange doing well.

Congrats to the Rams on winning the 1A title. Very impressive.

There was a little doubt, I always worry. But, from what I have heard so far, Raceland had a good showing, and Took Care of Business.

WOW!

Everyone is meeting the bus at the end of the Industrial Prky junction of US23 between 9 and 9:30pm tonight.

We beat St. X in points at the meet.

Coach Maynard said there were almost 430 lifters.

Congratulations to Raceland!!!

It was nice to see St. X actually participate this year. Unfortunately they didn't fair to well and their team left before the awards were given out. They didn't have a single kid place in the top 6 in any weight class.

I believe a state record was broken in the dead lift by a Trigg County player, 700 pounds and a bench press record for a Trinity player at 425 pounds.

Coach Maynard watched a 135 pound kid dead lift 520 pounds!!! He said there were some "freaks" lifting Saturday.

Ok, here I go again. What schools participate in this weight lift?

Trigg County won the overall title for the third straight year. Timmy McGee deadlifted 700 pounds, the first lifter to ever do this at the state meet

There were 25 schools that participated and 429 lifters. It is welcome to every school.
